Sr Technical Account Manager – West

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Senior Technical Account Manager based in the western United States. This is a strategic, client-facing technical role where you'll serve as the primary technical advisor to a portfolio of high-value accounts.

In this position, you'll bridge the gap between deep technical expertise and executive relationship management—equally comfortable troubleshooting at the command line with platform administrators and presenting architecture strategies to C-level technology leaders. You'll own the technical success of approximately 4 strategic accounts, ensuring platform optimization, adoption, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Success teams and client stakeholders to identify technical priorities and define engagement roadmaps
• Manage project milestones, contribute to technical deliverables, provide status updates, and proactively identify risks
• Serve as the central technical point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
• Provide expert guidance on platform architecture, deployment strategies, expansions, and operational best practices
• Advise clients on platform operations including upgrades, security, data management, compute resources, ML-Ops, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot complex implementation challenges within client environments
• Capture and communicate feature requests to product and engineering teams
• Guide client technology leaders on companion technologies and strategic technical decisions
• Support advanced implementation approaches including edge computing, deep learning, and MLOps workflows
• Contribute to team scalability through documentation, process optimization, and peer mentorship

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles
• Demonstrated confidence and professionalism in client interactions at all organizational levels
• Ability to engage effectively in both pre-sales and post-sales contexts
• Strong Linux system administration experience including networking
• Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization systems (LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, IAM)
• Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Production experience with Kubernetes ecosystem setup, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Experience with Hadoop and/or Spark ecosystem administration and optimization

Preferred qualifications:

• Python programming experience
• Java knowledge
• ML Ops familiarity

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $150,000–$200,000 USD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on geography, experience, and skills. This role is eligible for variable compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, flexible spending accounts, paid leave, and additional perks.
