Senior Software Engineer (f/m/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sustainability technology client seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of complex technical initiatives from conception through production. You will be a hands-on builder who combines strong product judgment with deep technical expertise.

In this role, you will:

• Own technically complex product features end-to-end, from problem definition through architecture, implementation, rollout, and continuous iteration
• Design and build solutions that turn fragmented data into actionable insights for industrial clients
• Identify unnecessary complexity, challenge assumptions, and guide the team toward high-value solutions
• Contribute to cross-cutting platform improvements that enhance reliability, maintainability, and scalability
• Elevate technical quality across the engineering organization through thoughtful design, code reviews, and hands-on collaboration
• Partner closely with product, design, and customer success teams to solve ambiguous problems with effective technical solutions
• Make high-quality architectural decisions that have broader implications for the platform

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on TypeScript experience in high-velocity SaaS environments
• Strong full-stack capabilities with deep understanding of systems end-to-end
• Backend development experience, ideally with PostgreSQL and Azure
• Clear, precise communication skills in English
• Self-driven problem solver with strong ownership and execution mindset
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical problem spaces and make sound architectural decisions

• German language skills
