About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential sustainability technology client in Munich who is building software that helps industrial organizations measure and reduce their environmental impact. We're seeking a Software Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of customer-facing features within their platform.
This is a hybrid role based in Munich, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful problems at the intersection of technology and climate action. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and customer success teams to build solutions that create tangible value.
Responsibilities
- Own customer-facing features from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and iteration
- Transform ambiguous requirements and user needs into pragmatic, maintainable solutions
- Challenge assumptions and contribute to product decisions about what's worth building
- Collaborate with product designers and customer success to understand user needs and shape effective solutions
- Contribute to codebase quality, engineering practices, and developer experience
- Make technical trade-offs and ship to production with a focus on creating tangible customer value
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software in TypeScript
- Strong full-stack and product thinking with understanding of systems end-to-end
- Experience with backend development, ideally with PostgreSQL and Azure
- Clear, precise communicator in English
- Self-driven problem solver with strong ownership and execution mindset
- German language skills are a plus
