Senior Consultant/Manager Business Strategy (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology platform operating in the customer experience sector. Our client has built a distinctive model combining AI-driven automation with a global freelance network, serving over 150 enterprise customers worldwide with significant revenue scale and international expansion underway.

We're seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager-level professional to join their Business Strategy function in München. This role reports directly to senior leadership and works alongside a team of former top-tier consultants on company-defining strategic initiatives.

Unlike traditional consulting where your work ends with a presentation, you'll see your analyses and recommendations implemented operationally and measure their real business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects end-to-end with full ownership, from initial analysis through operational implementation and measurement
• Analyze operational processes across the organization, identify efficiency and quality improvement levers, and drive concrete optimization initiatives
• Conduct rigorous data analysis, develop clear strategic recommendations, and prepare decision materials for executive leadership
• Present findings and proposals confidently to internal stakeholders and external partners
• Support M&A activities including due diligence processes, financial modeling, and post-merger integration workstreams as needed
• Contribute to commercial pitches and other business-critical ad-hoc projects

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding degree in business, engineering, or quantitative field from a top-tier university
• Minimum 4 years of experience at a leading management consultancy (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent tier) at engagement manager, project lead, or manager level
• Proven track record of independently leading strategic and operational projects with full ownership
• Strong analytical capabilities with hypothesis-driven, data-oriented problem-solving approach
• Deep understanding of operational processes and efficiency optimization
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution mentality
• Executive presence with confident communication style and collaborative team approach
• Fluency in both German and English (C1 level or higher in both languages)
• Solid experience with M&A processes (due diligence, financial modeling, integration) strongly preferred
• Background in tech, SaaS, or change management initiatives is a plus
