About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization in their search for a working student to support portfolio management activities in the wind energy sector. This role offers hands-on experience in strategic portfolio development and operations excellence within Germany's growing renewables industry.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic development initiatives alongside senior operations leadership
• Assist with analysis, maintenance, and development of the wind energy project portfolio
• Contribute to preparation of reports, presentations, and management decision materials
• Support economic viability assessments, risk analyses, and scenario modeling for projects
• Process and evaluate portfolio and project data, including key performance indicators
• Participate in optimization of portfolio management processes, methodologies, and tools
• Coordinate with cross-functional project teams and internal stakeholders
• Assist with required reporting in both English and German

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Renewable Energy, or comparable field
• Strong interest in wind energy, project development, and strategic portfolio management
• Analytical mindset with confident handling of numerical data and analysis
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
• Structured, meticulous, and independent working style
• Excellent German language skills and good English proficiency in written and spoken communication (minimum B2 level)
