About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization based in Berlin that is transforming how families manage their financial lives through innovative mobile solutions. Our talent team is seeking a Flutter Developer to join their product-focused engineering team and contribute to building features that make a real difference in users' daily lives.
This is a hybrid position based in Berlin, offering the opportunity to work on a production app serving families across Germany while collaborating closely with product and backend teams in a modern, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Android and iOS applications using Flutter and Dart, maintaining high technical standards throughout
- Collaborate closely with product and backend teams to implement new features from concept through release
- Build smooth, engaging user interfaces based on Figma designs with strong focus on performance and user experience
- Integrate backend APIs and contribute to building a robust, scalable platform architecture
- Ensure code maintainability through testing and documentation practices
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities in app performance, technical debt, UX details, and development processes
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of development workflows
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience in cross-platform app development with Flutter and Dart, ideally with production app experience
- Knowledge of at least one native mobile programming language such as Swift, Java, or Kotlin is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail—you notice when spacing is off or an animation doesn't feel right
- Foundational understanding of UI/UX principles and experience working with design tools like Figma
- Independent work style; you think beyond tickets, contribute ideas, and take ownership of your projects
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code)—actively used in their development workflow
- Fluent communication skills in both German and English
