Join Johnson & Johnson MedTech's Orthopaedics division as a Sales Consultant based in Ventura or Los Angeles, California. In this full-time position, you'll drive patient-focused solutions by bringing innovative orthopedic products and surgical support to healthcare professionals across your territory.
About This Position
As a Sales Consultant for JJ MedTech Orthopaedics, you're a bridge between cutting-edge medical solutions and the healthcare professionals who rely on them. You'll build lasting relationships with surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital administrators while educating them on the benefits of our orthopedic portfolio. This is a hands-on sales role requiring presence in the field—at surgical centers, hospitals, and clinical facilities throughout the Ventura and Los Angeles regions—where your expertise and communication skills directly impact patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, surgeons, and clinical decision-makers in your assigned territory
- Present orthopedic product solutions tailored to the clinical and business needs of each account
- Educate clinical staff on product features, surgical techniques, and patient benefits
- Coordinate product training sessions and support surgical procedures as needed
- Track sales activity and manage pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual targets
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on market trends and customer needs
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven sales experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related B2B environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build credibility with clinical professionals
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product information clearly
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while meeting targets
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory and attend training sessions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
