About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Operations. Our client is a mobile-first financial services company serving millions of customers worldwide, leveraging machine learning and real-time data to expand access to credit products.

This is a remote role based in the United States, with occasional travel expected approximately 4 times per year for company gatherings and strategic meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical strategy workstreams including product expansion, licensing decisions, and structural investment opportunities
• Drive corporate development initiatives including M&A diligence, acquisition thesis development, and investor relations strategy
• Take ownership of ambiguous, high-stakes cross-enterprise operational challenges with no clear precedent
• Own high-impact business operations initiatives that drive synergy and economies of scale across multiple markets
• Support international expansion efforts from market selection through launch execution
• Build financial models and analytical frameworks to support board-level strategic recommendations
• Serve as a senior representative with external stakeholders and counterparties

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of strategy, business operations, corporate development, or operating experience at high-growth startups
• Top-tier management consulting background is a plus
• Proven track record of independently owning ambiguous, high-stakes problems from definition through execution
• Deep analytical and financial modeling capabilities with ability to drive data-informed decisions
• Highly organized and autonomous working style, comfortable building cross-functional alignment without heavy structure
• Clear, confident communication skills with ability to earn trust quickly among senior stakeholders
• Hands-on, results-focused approach — equally comfortable building detailed models and presenting to leadership
• Experience leveraging AI and automation to create repeatable systems from manual processes
• Passion for financial inclusion and expanding access to fair credit products
