About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential educational technology organization that specializes in advanced professional development for software engineers. We are building a talent pool of experienced developers and technical experts for ongoing roles as Instructors, Authors, and Subject Matter Experts in AI-assisted programming education.

This is a Talent Pool position — we continuously review applications and build our roster of experts. There may not be an immediate opening when you apply, but strong candidates will be added to our talent pool and contacted as relevant opportunities arise.

All roles are part-time (10–15 hours per week) and fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

Depending on your expertise and the role you're matched with, you may:

• Deliver live workshops and training sessions to experienced software developers
• Create educational content, assessments, and project-based learning materials
• Design practical exercises, guides, prompts, and reference resources
• Help define curriculum structure, learning objectives, and competency frameworks
• Review content for technical accuracy and industry relevance
• Share insights on AI development tools, workflows, and emerging trends
• Collaborate with instructional designers and curriculum teams to improve learning outcomes
• Support program updates based on learner feedback and market needs

Available role types:

• Instructor — leads live sessions, workshops, and learner interactions
• Author — creates course content, lessons, assessments, and projects
• Subject Matter Expert — shapes curriculum strategy, competency frameworks, and program direction

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: Golang, Kotlin, Swift, C++, Android, iOS, or other languages
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Strong ability to share knowledge through content creation, training, mentoring, or facilitation
• Ability to make complex technical concepts clear, practical, and engaging for learners
• Ability to work independently with strong ownership and minimal supervision
• Availability to collaborate within European time zones
• Ability to dedicate approximately 10–15 hours per week
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-have:

• Background in developer advocacy, tech leadership, mentoring, conference speaking, or technical community engagement
• Strong expertise in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Ability to evaluate real-world AI/LLM applications, architectures, and workflows
• Experience creating competency maps, skill frameworks, learning roadmaps, or curriculum structures
• Russian or Spanish language skills

Pay

Our client offers a competitive hourly rate of $40–$85 USD for this flexible, part-time collaboration.
