AI Security (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consulting organization seeking an AI Security Consultant to join their München team. In this role, you will analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technical systems to identify optimization opportunities through AI implementation.

• Advise clients on secure introduction and deployment of AI solutions, helping them assess opportunities and risks
• Develop tailored AI strategies for business units to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness and efficiency
• Support project and program management for client engagements
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and training sessions on AI security topics
• Create reporting materials for decision-makers and committees to enable informed choices
• Monitor market and technology trends in AI security and derive insights for client projects

At the Senior level, additional responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee AI security projects from analysis through implementation, serving as the central interface between business units, IT, and security teams
• Support executives and project stakeholders with strategic questions regarding AI use within existing security structures
• Design and facilitate workshops, assessments, and training on AI security, including risk assessment of AI use cases and secure use of generative AI
• Document results, prepare management materials, and present appropriately to diverse stakeholders
• Develop and evaluate practical concepts and guidelines for securing AI applications
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure transparency regarding project progress, risks, and decisions

What We're Looking For

Consultant Level:

• Master's degree in business administration, informatics, technical, scientific, mathematical, or related discipline
• 1–2 years of professional experience
• Interest in secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or using AI to improve cybersecurity
• Structured and pragmatic working style with ability to quickly learn new topics
• Open and empathetic personality
• Team player who is motivated, performance-oriented, flexible, communicative, and proactive
• Comfortable with technical concepts and bridging development and management perspectives
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Outlook and PowerPoint
• Very good German and English language skills (at least C1 level in both)
• Willingness to travel

Senior Consultant Level (additional requirements):

• 2–5 years of professional experience
• Confident working knowledge of secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or using AI to improve cybersecurity
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies
• Understanding of business processes in IT and cybersecurity with confidence in designing, implementing, analyzing, and optimizing them
• Creative team player with strong initiative and passion for driving innovative ideas and building long-term client relationships
• Analytical and visionary thinking with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts and confidently advise clients
• Strong facilitation skills and confidence in client interactions
