AI (Senior) Developer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in München seeking an AI Developer at mid or senior level. In this role, you will integrate generative AI technologies into production application software and evaluate systems built with frameworks such as LangChain and similar tools. You will analyze complex datasets for AI use cases, improve data quality, and contribute to cloud-native development projects focused on AI-driven solutions.

You will integrate AI-ready database systems—including relational, vector, and graph databases—for complex applications. Research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies and methods will be part of your daily work. You will collaborate with project teams and present technical results professionally.

At the senior level: You will take ownership and technical responsibility from initial concept through delivery, establish best practices for AI system optimization, make architectural decisions, provide technical leadership to developers, and facilitate workshops and technical reviews.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree (preferably Master's) with focus on AI or IT; initial professional experience in AI software development required
• Senior level: Several years of professional experience with proven project success in AI software development
• Solid knowledge of Python plus at least one additional language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or Java)
• Practical experience integrating and using generative AI technologies and frameworks
• Experience with AI-ready database systems (relational, vector, graph databases)
• Experience in cloud-native development and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)
• Knowledge of API design and full-stack software development
• Senior level: Deep expertise in these technologies, ability to establish best practices, architectural responsibility, and experience leading development projects
• Team player with strong communication skills and structured, independent work style
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
