Cybersecurity Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consulting organization seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to join their München-based team. In this role, you will:

• Lead cybersecurity projects from inception through delivery, ensuring milestones and objectives are met
• Provide strategic consulting on the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for clients
• Manage stakeholder communication and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project teams
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, advise clients on security strategies, and contribute to new service development
• Analyze complex processes and systems, with particular focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Design solution concepts and IT security architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Support new client acquisition efforts and represent technical capabilities externally
• Perform IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of security incidents
• Lead transformation initiatives and develop internal security methodologies and standards
• Drive internal development initiatives to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity practice

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
• 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including hands-on implementation of Zero Trust concepts and technologies
• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Azure AD, Zero Trust frameworks, and security architecture design
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and management experience
• Strong understanding of business processes within cybersecurity contexts
• In-depth knowledge of networking, cybersecurity architectures, and security principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven project management expertise
• Team player with high motivation, adaptability, and proactive approach
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Fluency in both German and English (minimum C1 level required for both languages)
