Consultant Data Analyst Marketing – F/H

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential marketing consultancy seeking a Data Analyst Consultant to join their Customer Insights team in Paris. In this role, you will enhance client knowledge and support marketing decision-making through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting customer behavior analyses
• Developing customer segmentations
• Building predictive scoring models (churn, propensity, cross-sell)
• Analyzing campaign performance metrics
• Creating dashboards and visualizations
• Managing projects end-to-end from initial briefing through to presenting results and marketing recommendations to clients

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in statistics, data science, econometrics, or related quantitative field
• Proven experience in marketing analytics, ideally within a consulting environment
• Strong marketing competencies including ROI calculation, customer acquisition and retention strategies, customer lifetime value analysis, and ability to formulate actionable marketing recommendations
• Technical and statistical expertise in:
  • Descriptive and advanced analytics
  • Predictive modeling and scoring methodologies
  • Operational segmentation techniques
  • Time series analysis
  • Population weighting methods
  • Structural equation modeling
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or R, SAS, SQL, Dataiku, and Tableau or Power BI
• Interest in advanced methodologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
• Fluent English (our client works with numerous international accounts)
• Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills, team-oriented approach, adaptability, and ability to translate technical insights for operational stakeholders
