About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consultancy seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to join their team in Brazil. Our client specializes in enterprise digital transformation and works with leading organizations across multiple industries. As a QA Automation professional on this team, you will enhance software quality through automated testing solutions while working alongside talented cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Pytest, or similar frameworks
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking systems
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently
- Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance processes
- Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Perform back-end testing to validate APIs and server-side components or responses
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Jira, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluent English is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms
- Exposure to API testing and security testing
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications
