Billing Manager (FitMe)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential mobile technology organization in their search for a Billing Manager. This remote position focuses on payment operations and fraud prevention for a health and wellness application platform. We're looking for an analytical professional who can optimize billing systems, manage payment provider relationships, and drive performance improvements across international markets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key performance indicators affecting billing efficiency, including authorization rates, risk metrics, and cost optimization through detailed analytics
• Negotiate terms and conditions with payment service providers
• Collaborate closely with product managers, support teams, finance departments, management, and development teams
• Research and implement the most popular payment methods across different geographic markets
• Manage chargeback processes, refunds, and performance metrics to improve overall billing operations

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 1+ years of experience as a Billing Manager or Anti-Fraud Manager
• Hands-on experience with chargebacks, refunds, performance metrics, and cost optimization
• Strong analytical mindset and systematic approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and formulate hypotheses and solutions to assigned problems
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
• Experience with payment service providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, Adyen, Checkout, and others
• Confidence working with orchestration platforms, 3DS, payment tokenization, chargeback protection, Amplitude, Jira, and Tableau
• Solid knowledge of alternative payment methods including PIX, Blik, Cashapp, Revolut, and similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial or banking sector
• Understanding of unit economics and data-driven decision-making methodology
• Experience creating technical requirements for developers and running A/B tests
• Experience in negotiations with business partners
