About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing legal technology organization seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead their global events function from Paris. This is a strategic, high-impact role where you'll own the entire events portfolio across multiple international markets including France, Spain, Italy, DACH, North America, and the Middle East.
Our client operates on a centralized events model. You won't attend every activation, but you'll ensure each one is strategically positioned, properly resourced, on-brand, and measurably effective. This role requires building frameworks from the ground up—defining intake processes, establishing budget controls, creating playbooks, and ensuring cross-functional alignment between Sales, Customer Success, and regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end event strategy and execution across all markets, ensuring every activation drives meaningful business outcomes
- Define event positioning by understanding target personas and crafting relevant messaging that reflects the brand and speaks to audience needs
- Manage the full event calendar from intake and planning through vendor coordination, asset production, execution, and post-event analysis
- Establish and maintain a clear event sizing framework (S/M/L) to ensure appropriate resourcing and set internal expectations
- Oversee budget management independently, tracking spend, forecasting needs, and reporting to marketing leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure every event has clear objectives, proper briefings, and structured follow-through
- Build scalable processes, templates, playbooks, and workflows that make the events function repeatable and efficient
- Track performance metrics, report on outcomes, and integrate learnings into future planning cycles
- Ensure go-to-market teams launch communications on schedule and have necessary collateral for each event
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of B2B event management experience, ideally within technology or SaaS environments
- Proven track record organizing events across multiple regions, managing both large-scale and intimate activations
- Experience independently owning and managing event budgets
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday, Asana, or similar platforms
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages including French, Spanish, Italian, or German are a significant advantage
- Strategic mindset with the ability to assess event quality and articulate what makes an activation successful
- Natural process builder who creates structure through templates, playbooks, and automation
- Strong collaborator who can align cross-functional stakeholders and bring teams together
- Detail-oriented and decisive, balancing patience with people and clarity in execution
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency
