About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm specializing in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Our talent team is seeking a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with strong expertise in natural language processing and deep learning to join a specialized practice focused on high-impact client engagements.

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems in document understanding, unstructured data analysis, and intelligent process automation. You'll be part of a team led by experienced practitioners and will contribute to projects that demand both technical excellence and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement modeling approaches tailored to specific business use cases
• Explore, structure, and validate complex datasets including text, images, and documents
• Develop and train deep learning models for natural language processing and document analysis
• Evaluate model performance and iterate on architectures to optimize results
• Integrate machine learning models into operational applications
• Support deployment and production monitoring, including performance tracking, drift detection, and robustness assessments
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and scale execution environments

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in data science or machine learning
• Strong expertise in natural language processing and/or complex document analysis
• Proven track record of developing and deploying deep learning models to production
• Proficiency with modern deep learning frameworks and specialized NLP libraries
• Comfort with contemporary development environments including version control, containerization, and deployment pipelines
• Ability to transition from experimentation to production-grade solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in demanding technical environments
