Senior FullStack Software Engineer (Node.js / Vue.js) – Full remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS organization in the legal technology sector, seeking a Senior FullStack Software Engineer to join their product engineering team. This is a full remote position based in France, ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a product-driven environment and wants to build solutions that serve professionals at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features across the full stack of the platform
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering peers to deliver user-focused solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Contribute to architectural discussions and help drive technical decisions that impact platform scalability and reliability
• Ensure high code quality and performance through robust testing, monitoring, and optimization practices
• Help define and maintain engineering and DevOps best practices across the team
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools to continuously improve the platform

What We're Looking For

Location & Language:

• Based in France with full working rights
• Fluent in both French and English

Experience & Seniority:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Significant experience building and operating B2B or B2C SaaS platforms in production environments
• Proven track record working on long-lived SaaS products (multi-year), with ownership of features across their full lifecycle
• Strong background in complex, scalable web architectures

Technical Expertise:

• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js (backend) and Vue.js (frontend)
• Solid production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Hands-on exposure to modern DevOps practices
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MariaDB databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• High standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability

Product & Team Collaboration:

• Extensive experience working directly with product managers, designers, and stakeholders in feature team or product-oriented setups
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability with ability to drive features end-to-end
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse functions

Education:

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in senior SaaS environments
