About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm seeking a Data Engineer to join their Cloud Transformation practice in Paris. Our client works with leading organizations across finance, industry, and technology on strategic data science, machine learning, and AI initiatives.

You will work within a team led by an experienced Practice Manager on a mission with one of our client's energy sector clients. This is a transversal data role supporting use cases across trading, human resources, and various business units, providing foundational IT and data infrastructure that serves multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional teams on their data and AI projects
• Accelerate and industrialize use cases through transversal interventions
• Deploy and operationalize data and AI projects into production
• Work with modern cloud technologies and develop expertise in AWS
• Handle high-volume and diverse data sets with continuous optimization
• Contribute to impactful projects related to energy transition and sustainability
• Collaborate with senior-level team members in a technically demanding environment

What We're Looking For

• Engineering degree or Master's level university qualification (Bac +5)
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Scala, AWS, Databricks, and SQL
• Good English language skills for working in an international environment
• Passion for technology and desire to work in complex technical environments
• High standards and commitment to technical excellence
