Founding Product Designer @Panora (backed by Get A Job.ai)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential insurtech startup backed by a leading European venture studio. They're building AI-powered workflow automation for insurance professionals across France and Belgium, with live production systems already deployed.

This is a founding-level Product Designer role based in Paris. You'll work at the intersection of insurance operations, AI systems, and product design—translating complex, regulated workflows into interfaces that insurance brokers can actually use in their daily practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep user research with insurance brokers to understand their workflows, risk assessment processes, pricing decisions, and compliance requirements
• Identify edge cases and non-standard situations that impact how professionals interact with AI-assisted tools
• Contribute to product strategy and decision-making at the founding team level
• Design and ship high-fidelity flows, prototypes, and product improvements using Figma
• Translate complex insurance logic and AI outputs into clear, actionable interfaces
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to refine how AI-generated insights are presented and acted upon
• Prototype nuanced design decisions and iterate based on broker feedback
• Help shape how domain knowledge is structured and displayed in an AI-native product

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience designing UX and UI for software products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma as your primary design tool
• Track record of working independently to explore concepts from initial research through final delivery
• Demonstrated ability to design simple, elegant solutions to complex user problems
• Strong eye for visual and interaction design quality, with attention to UI details
• Proficiency in prototyping to articulate nuanced design decisions
• Comfort with feedback and a commitment to exploring alternative solutions
• Willingness to step outside your comfort zone and learn a regulated, operationally complex industry
• Motivation to work on meaningful problems in a domain that requires deep understanding (you don't need insurance expertise, but you need genuine interest in the mission)
