(Senior) Account Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Berlin seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead client relationships and campaign delivery.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing projects independently from briefing through execution and optimization
• Translate client objectives and requirements into clear briefs, timelines, and actionable next steps for internal teams
• Plan and oversee social media and advertising campaigns from kick-off through performance analysis and ongoing optimization
• Analyze performance data and creative results, developing strategic recommendations based on campaign outcomes
• Coordinate collaboration between creative, media buying, and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery
• Monitor budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and priorities while maintaining quality and pace
• Support new business development by conducting outreach, qualifying leads, participating in initial conversations, and contributing to proposal development

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with:

• At least 3 years of experience in project or account management for digital marketing initiatives, ideally within an agency environment
• Strong familiarity with social advertising and performance marketing processes, with proven ability to guide teams and clients through complex projects
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and track timings, budgets, and project dependencies
• Clear, professional, and empathetic communication style when working with both internal teams and client stakeholders
• Ability to document requirements precisely and create briefs that enable creative and media teams to execute immediately
• Hands-on mentality, self-initiative, and strong sense of ownership
• Enthusiasm for building new relationships, recognizing business potential, and developing long-term client partnerships
• C2-level German language proficiency and very good English skills
