Senior Product Manager – Reconciliation

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Product Manager - Reconciliation based in Canada. This is a strategic role focused on building the financial control systems that protect accuracy and integrity across complex money movement operations.

In this position, you'll lead the evolution of reconciliation infrastructure, partnering with engineering, finance, operations, and accounting teams to automate workflows, strengthen controls, and ensure end-to-end auditability. You'll be building platform solutions that make financial accuracy reliable, transparent, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for reconciliation platform capabilities, including work supporting regulatory requirements
• Partner with engineers to understand how financial data flows through systems, including schemas, transformations, dependencies, and failure modes
• Collaborate with product teams, accounting, finance, and operations to define priorities and deliverables
• Evolve the reconciliation platform to handle long-term scale, simplifying integration and enabling teams across the organization to leverage unified systems and tooling
• Build tools that help internal teams identify discrepancies, understand root causes, resolve issues quickly, and report accurately
• Bring structure to cross-functional problem spaces, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term platform leverage
• Develop deep understanding of money movement and accounting systems to make clear product and technical tradeoffs

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of product management experience working on technical platforms, infrastructure, data products, or similarly complex systems
• Strong systems thinking with a bias toward reusable primitives and durable platform solutions
• Track record of independently driving ambiguous work from problem definition through delivery
• Exceptional cross-functional partnership skills with ability to understand competing needs and make thoughtful prioritization decisions
• Ability to operate at multiple altitudes: driving near-term execution while developing clear long-term platform vision
• Deep commitment to correctness, reliability, and details that make internal systems trustworthy

Particularly valuable experience:

• Platform products involving audits, financial controls, or regulatory requirements
• Systems related to payments, ledgers, accounting, financial operations, or data infrastructure
• Internal platforms serving many downstream teams

Prior reconciliation experience is not required. Our client values platform instincts, technical fluency, and the ability to learn complex domains deeply.

Pay via Get A Job.ai for Canadian candidates: CAD $189,700–$237,100, plus equity and benefits.
