Staff Product Manager, Agentic & AI Platform

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential computer vision technology company seeking a Staff Product Manager, Agentic & AI Platform in Paris. This is a rare chance to own the AI infrastructure powering millions of visual workflows at catalog scale.

You'll build the platform layer that turns AI capabilities into plug-and-play primitives for product teams, plus the agentic orchestration that runs multi-step visual generation, QA, routing, and publishing without human intervention. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, ML tooling, and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI gateway and platform infrastructure that every product feature runs through, including safeguards, evaluation frameworks, cost controls, and observability tooling
• Build the agentic workflow layer—multi-step visual agents that generate, check quality, route decisions, retry failures, and publish outputs autonomously at scale
• Define and sharpen problems before solutions, partnering with engineering and research to ship platform capabilities that feel effortless for internal developers and end users
• Treat internal product teams as customers; prioritize across competing roadmaps, maintain a strategic vision rather than a request queue, and say no with clear reasoning
• Convert emerging model capabilities into shipped features that drive adoption and revenue, then abstract them into reusable primitives
• Pull and interpret data directly—adoption metrics, latency, inference cost per generation, eval results—to form hypotheses, measure outcomes, and decide what ships next

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years as a Product Manager with a track record of shipping products users love and that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Direct experience building platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, internal platforms, or ML tooling
• Proven work shipping agentic or model-backed systems into production; deep understanding of evals, guardrails, non-deterministic output, cost per call, and failure modes at scale
• Daily fluency with AI tools (Claude or equivalent) for prototyping, user testing, and automating workflow; your value sits in strategy and direction, not ticket-writing
• Demonstrable product taste—you can show specific work where details mattered and explain the decisions you made, including what you'd change now
• Ability to create clarity from ambiguity; you structure fuzzy problems, decide what matters, and move without waiting for direction
• Data fluency—you pull, interpret, and challenge data yourself to form points of view, not confirm them
• Thrives in small, high-autonomy teams; operates successfully in remote-first, async environments with minimal scaffolding

Location & Work Arrangement
