About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality technology client seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team in München, Bavaria, Germany. Our client operates a modern, API-first platform serving the hospitality sector with a focus on fiscal and legal compliance across multiple international markets.

This role offers the opportunity to own product delivery within the fiscal and legal domain, working closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance across 180+ target markets. You'll be instrumental in building scalable systems that enable rapid market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for one or two product crews focused on fiscal and legal domains such as invoicing or taxation
  • Transform roadmap priorities into clear, well-scoped work that engineering teams can execute effectively
  • Balance planned roadmap delivery with ongoing regulatory and compliance requirements for existing markets
  • Write detailed specifications, define completion criteria, and conduct thorough impact analysis
  • Partner closely with engineering as a technical collaborator on API-first architecture, diving into implementation details
  • Shield your team from distractions while maintaining predictable delivery cadence
  • Collaborate with customer success, compliance, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into shippable features
  • Accelerate new country launch timelines, supporting ambitious multi-market expansion goals

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • 3 to 4 years of Product Manager experience, ideally in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment
  • Strong execution mindset with a proven track record of shipping products and taking ownership without extensive oversight
  • Comfort working with technical, API-first products; ability to discuss architecture with engineers and understand implementation depth
  • Sharp prioritization skills with the ability to sequence work, make strategic trade-offs, and maintain team focus
  • Genuine curiosity for complex domains and willingness to dig into technical details
  • Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience with fiscal, tax, or legal compliance topics in fintech, e-commerce, or ERP systems
  • Familiarity with platform products that expose APIs for third-party development
