About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization in their search for a ServiceNow Engineer to join their growing team. This is a 100% remote, full-time position open to candidates across the United States.
Our client needs someone who can build and maintain solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications. You'll focus on hands-on configuration and development—including workflows, Flow Designer, scripting, integrations, UI customization, and platform extensions—while applying best practices that keep the platform clean, upgrade-safe, and performant.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules and applications
- Build and maintain workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies
- Create and customize Service Portal widgets
- Implement integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
- Maintain the ServiceNow data model and CMDB configurations
- Write maintainable, upgrade-safe code that balances declarative and programmatic approaches
- Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize performance
- Apply platform best practices to ensure long-term stability
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Strong JavaScript skills, including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow
- Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies
- Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts
- Experience with Service Portal widget development
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- U.S. work authorization (U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply; new H-1B sponsorship is not available)
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist credentials (ITSM, HR, CSM, ITOM)
- Experience with Now Assist or GenAI Controller
- Familiarity with App Engine Studio
- Exposure to multi-instance ServiceNow environments
