Senior Paid Search Strategist (Google), Contract, Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential performance marketing agency serving premium DTC brands. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Paid Search Strategist to take ownership of Google Ads strategy and execution across a diverse client portfolio. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll manage significant budgets and mentor junior team members in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Google Ads strategy and daily execution across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns
• Manage monthly Google spend exceeding $100K while hitting ROAS, CPA, and MER targets
• Maintain complete ownership of Merchant Center and product feed health, including diagnosing disapprovals, feed gaps, and platform sync issues independently
• Structure Performance Max campaigns strategically with deliberate asset group configuration, exclusion management, and signal optimization
• Lead the paid search portion of client presentations, clearly explaining performance, delivering actionable recommendations, and providing strategic pushback when necessary
• Develop and articulate informed perspectives on branded spend strategy, incrementality measurement, and cross-channel budget allocation
• Collaborate on Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels as they intersect with Google performance
• Mentor junior paid search team members and serve as the quality assurance checkpoint before campaigns go live

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience in agency or high-growth brand environments
• Deep technical expertise in Search, Shopping, and Performance Max, plus strong Merchant Center and feed troubleshooting capabilities
• Proven track record personally managing $100K+ monthly Google Ads budgets with documented efficiency improvements
• Direct-to-consumer or e-commerce campaign ownership; premium or luxury brand experience with high AOV is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Meta advertising—enough depth to discuss it credibly with clients and inform cross-channel strategy
• Proficiency with GA4, Looker Studio, and multi-touch attribution models
• Excellent English communication skills and confidence leading client conversations in a remote setting
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Pay
