About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential BPO client seeking an HR Senior Generalist to lead workplace investigations across their U.S. operations. This individual contributor role serves as the primary liaison for all internal and external workplace investigations, ensuring employee relations issues, ethics complaints, and escalations are handled with objectivity and thoroughness while maintaining strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment law.
This is a remote position based in Texas or Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employment investigations including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, and policy violations from initiation through closure
- Investigate reports originating from internal channels, anonymous hotlines, and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
- Maintain precise, legally defensible records of interviews, evidence, and findings; prepare comprehensive written reports for leadership review
- Apply working knowledge of U.S. employment law frameworks including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA considerations, and state/local anti-discrimination and leave laws
- Partner with legal counsel on high-risk matters, legal claims, and litigation holds while maintaining independent fact-finding role
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence, identify trends, support consistent discipline application, and prevent retaliation
- Synthesize complex investigative findings into concise summaries for executive leadership, presenting neutral, evidence-based conclusions
- Ensure comprehensive closed-loop processes by verifying systemic issues are addressed, stakeholders are debriefed, and organizational risks are mitigated
- Transition to other HR Generalist duties or special projects as organizational needs evolve
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of professional HR experience with heavy focus on Employee Relations or Investigations
- Demonstrable knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to remain neutral and empathetic during high-stress interviews
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and case management software
- Must be based in or willing to work from Texas or Arizona
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR)
- Experience representing an employer in responses to the EEOC or Department of Labor
