Sr Director Analyst, HR Technology – Talent & Learning

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global research and advisory organization seeking a Senior Director Analyst, HR Technology – Talent & Learning to join their Human Resources practice in India. This is a remote individual contributor role with a strong preference for candidates based in Gurgaon.

In this position, you will serve as an industry thought leader, creating must-have research, market predictions, and best practices for world-leading organizations. You'll focus on HR technology with particular emphasis on talent management, learning and development, and recruiting technologies. Your expertise will help Chief Human Resources Officers and HR functional leaders make informed decisions about HR tech strategies, initiatives, and investments.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your experience implementing AI solutions in talent processes to create innovative, thought-provoking research offering compelling, objective, and actionable advice
• Develop provocative, independent insights on HR technology markets and AI use cases affecting talent management, L&D, and recruiting functions
• Track vendors, emerging technologies, and changing practices to remain ahead of the curve
• Provide clients and prospects with individualized, actionable advice rooted in quantitative and qualitative data
• Predict market developments, assist clients in selection processes, and guide vendor positioning
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials on- and off-stage for events, industry conferences, and client briefings
• Participate actively in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating with peers
• Provide high-quality and timely content peer review
• Serve as a mentor and coach to more junior team members

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant experience in HR technology leadership roles, including subject matter expertise in talent management, L&D, and recruiting
• Profound understanding of technologies involved in L&D and talent management workflows, including employee development, compliance training, performance management, succession planning, skills management, and engagement surveying
• Specific knowledge of L&D and performance management platforms, including challenges of transitioning legacy systems to emerging solutions and the impact of AI-enabled skills
• Deep first-hand knowledge of the HR tech landscape, including market dynamics, vendors, products, and emerging use cases
• Strong executive presence and ability to establish credibility with senior-level audiences
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills
• Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multicultural global team
• Comfort with presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, regionally and globally
