About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Sales Manager, Small Business. This is a remote opportunity based in the USA, ideal for an experienced sales leader who excels at coaching and developing high-performing teams.

In this role, you will hire, train, coach, and lead a team of Account Executives who serve small business clients. You'll be responsible for driving team performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team of Account Executives with varying levels of experience (0-5 years in closing roles)
• Coach sellers through consultative sales processes, providing guidance at each stage of the deal cycle
• Leverage CRM data and analytics to drive forecasting accuracy and identify performance trends
• Hold team members accountable to KPIs that directly impact business outcomes
• Attract, recruit, interview, and retain top sales talent while building diverse and inclusive teams
• Manage team performance using structured sales methodologies and forecast processes
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects that advance organizational goals
• Adapt communication style based on individual team member motivations and needs
• Create a transparent environment focused on improvement while maintaining high team morale

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience successfully leading a sales team
• Proven track record mentoring and developing sales professionals with low attrition
• Experience managing sellers through consultative sales processes
• Proficiency using CRM systems to manage pipelines and forecast opportunities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and communicate insights through data
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• High emotional intelligence and genuine empathy for team members
• Track record of driving teams to overachieve targets while navigating change
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities
• Experience coaching in structured sales environments with defined methodologies
• Demonstrated good judgment in decision-making, especially during challenging situations
