Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential defense technology client in Berlin. They are seeking a Technical Product Manager to serve as the critical bridge between system requirements and engineering execution on advanced autonomous platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to work on deployable robotics systems at the intersection of hardware and software, supporting programs that strengthen European security capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex system requirements from engineers and program managers into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for cross-functional teams
  • Manage and prioritize the engineering backlog across hardware and software components, balancing foundational architecture work with immediate project deliverables
  • Facilitate daily alignment across hardware engineers (working on sensors, optics, supplier specifications) and software engineers (building embedded systems and overlays)
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical capabilities, system resources, and sprint outcomes for stakeholder visibility
  • Review completed engineering work against requirements, navigating trade-offs between hardware constraints, embedded software performance, and project timelines
  • Unblock work and ensure smooth sprint execution across the full robotics stack

What We're Looking For

  • Technical literacy: comfortable reviewing technical structures, navigating code repositories (GitLab), and collaborating effectively with software engineers
  • Strong systems thinking with understanding of robotics and embedded technology stacks—able to discuss sensor calibration, edge computing platforms, driver integration, and system architecture
  • Exceptional communication skills to bridge deeply technical engineers and program managers
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with sensor hardware lifecycles and optics
  • Experience with embedded Linux, edge computing carrier boards, or base image configuration
  • Experience applying Agile frameworks in hardware contexts
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or autonomous vehicle sectors
