Learning Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential nonprofit organization in the computing education sector. They are seeking an experienced Learning Manager to develop and deliver high-quality educational materials and professional learning experiences for young people aged 8 to 18.

This is a remote role based in the United States. Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central time zones, with preference for those in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, or the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. The position involves periodic travel to meet with colleagues and partners across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for educational programmes focused on computing and AI literacy
• Design curriculum and professional learning for educators in various formats, including webinars, workshops, and in-person events
• Ensure all materials reflect evidence-based pedagogy and best practices in computing education
• Adapt and scale AI and machine learning educational programs for teachers and students
• Plan and deliver engaging professional development, adapting approaches to meet diverse audience needs
• Utilize user feedback and data to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization and external partners
• Represent the organization to external stakeholders and contribute to thought leadership through writing and public speaking
• Engage with quality assurance systems, including policies for inclusion and accessibility

What We're Looking For

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or related field
• Teaching qualification or significant teaching experience, with at least 3 years teaching computing science or closely related field at middle and/or high school level
• Experience designing and implementing AI literacy curriculum for students
• Demonstrable interest in latest developments in AI for education
• Experience delivering and designing high-quality learning experiences, content, resources, or training in various settings
• Strong understanding of computing pedagogy within formal education and informal learning contexts
• Comfortable with broad range of technologies, including hardware and software platforms
• Highly organized and proactive with ability to manage multiple work streams
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
• Flexibility, adaptability, and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and partners
• Must be eligible to work in the USA
• Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $72,000 - $78,000 per year, dependent on experience. This is a permanent, full-time position, though part-time or flexible arrangements may be considered.
