We are seeking a qualified Bilanzbuchhalter/in (m/w/d) to join their accounting team. This is a full-time or part-time position offering hybrid work arrangements, with the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage ongoing financial accounting for a dedicated portfolio of clients
• Prepare and create annual financial statements for companies of various legal forms
• Perform account reconciliations, closing procedures, and reclassifications
• Prepare and review management accounting reports
• Handle VAT-related matters within the scope of ongoing financial accounting
• Serve as direct point of contact with clients on accounting and financial reporting questions
• Collaborate with tax advisors on annual closings and advanced tax matters
• Contribute to the development of digital processes in financial accounting and closing procedures

What We're Looking For

• Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training with further qualification as Bilanzbuchhalter/in
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and annual financial statement preparation, ideally in a tax advisory firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and business accounting systems
• Proficient use of DATEV software
• Structured, meticulous, and independent working style
• Enjoyment of direct client interaction
• Team-oriented approach and interest in digital workflows and new technologies
• German language proficiency required for client-facing responsibilities
