Solutions Architect (Media, Entertainment and Agencies)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading data and AI platform provider in their search for a Solutions Architect focused on Media, Entertainment and Agencies sectors in London. Our client is at the forefront of cloud-based data analytics and machine learning solutions, serving global organizations that rely on scalable, production-grade data infrastructure.

As Solutions Architect, you will lead technical strategy for key accounts, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads, combining deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to position advanced data and AI capabilities as the foundation of their technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for assigned accounts, from initial discovery through production deployment and consumption growth
• Lead complex architecture discussions, designing scalable solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors
• Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios by demonstrating platform differentiation through custom-built solutions
• Develop technical specialization in a specific domain (streaming, ML/AI, data governance, or migrations)
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex customer needs
• Influence product direction by providing structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on technical role
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with demonstrated live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders through whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis
• Experience with production deployments on public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure, security, and governance
• Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts
• Excellent communication skills translating complex architectures into business value for technical and executive audiences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)

Preferred:

• Platform certifications in data engineering, ML, or cloud architecture
• Experience with competitive platforms (understanding the competitive landscape)
• Background in data/AI companies or cloud providers
• Industry domain expertise in Media, Entertainment and Agencies sectors
