Frontend Engineer

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization working at the intersection of national security and cutting-edge machine learning. Our client partners with government agencies and major technology companies to build responsible, high-impact AI systems that require the highest standards of security and technical excellence.

As a Frontend Engineer, you'll visualize complex insights generated by data scientists and bring machine learning capabilities to life through elegant, scalable interfaces. You'll work embedded within cross-functional delivery teams solving unique challenges that matter on a national scale.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and design specialists to build client-facing products
• Prioritize, plan, coordinate, and communicate frontend features to internal and external stakeholders
• Set up and maintain development and deployment infrastructure for your frontend team
• Maintain and enforce technical best practices and standards across the organization's frontend capacity
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries for use across projects
• Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support for new frontend engineers
• Act as the go-to authority for frontend software engineering within your team

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience building scalable, maintainable, and well-tested web applications using React
• High proficiency in foundational web technologies including ES6 JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3
• Hands-on experience writing TypeScript or other typed languages
• Experience with data visualization techniques and implementations such as d3
• Exposure to cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong focus on technical excellence with eagerness to set standards and mentor others
• Must be eligible for UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
• Willingness to work on-site with clients from time to time
