Senior Talent Acquisition Manager | GTM & Operations

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech organization building infrastructure for private markets. They have experienced significant growth and are now expanding their London-based team. We're seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to own end-to-end hiring across go-to-market and operations functions.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced recruiter who thrives on ownership, combines hands-on execution with strategic partnership, and can navigate complex stakeholder environments while delivering exceptional candidate experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own complete hiring cycles across GTM functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Partnerships) and Operations (Fund Operations, Fund Accounting) primarily across Germany and the UK, with occasional hires in other European locations
• Partner with functional and executive leaders to shape hiring demand, challenge role design, and improve decision-making while setting clear expectations on timelines and trade-offs
• Build and close high-quality talent pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, networks, communities, events, and selective agency partnerships
• Lead portfolio planning with clear priorities and forecasts, using market intelligence on talent supply, compensation, location dynamics, and competitor landscape to inform capacity and sequencing recommendations
• Strengthen hiring quality through disciplined intake processes, structured scorecards, calibrated interviews, rigorous feedback loops, and strategic closing approaches
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Notion AI) to increase recruiting efficiency while maintaining accountability for judgment, quality, privacy, and sensitive communications
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and build community presence within the private markets talent ecosystem
• Partner with the People team to build scalable, future-proof hiring systems and share reusable practices across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Significant end-to-end recruiting experience across business functions including GTM, Operations, and/or Professional Services, with a track record of delivering senior and high-impact searches
• Demonstrated success sourcing and closing high-calibre, hard-to-reach candidates through direct outreach and creative channels beyond traditional job boards
• Experience working across multiple functions, markets, or locations with the ability to adapt approaches to different talent pools and business contexts
• Background in fintech, fund administration, professional services, or demonstrable ability to build credibility quickly in complex technical domains
• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear action while staying close to execution details
• Capacity to manage substantial cognitive load across changing priorities, senior stakeholders, and high-stakes candidate relationships without losing clarity or follow-through
• Excellent discernment—you see nuance, separate signal from noise, and recognize when to adjust strategy rather than persist
• Emotional intelligence combined with gravitas; you adapt communication style while remaining direct about evidence and trade-offs
• Business acumen that connects company priorities and commercial outcomes to practical hiring plans
• Self-starting approach with agency—you create structure, initiate solutions, and escalate with informed recommendations
• Practical experience using AI tools in daily recruiting workflows; experience building automations or new workflows is highly valued
• Strong process and data discipline balanced with flexibility and continuous improvement mindset for candidate experience and team effectiveness
• Fluent English communication skills

Location and Work Arrangement

This role is based in London with a remote-flexible hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office. The position offers up to six remote calendar weeks per year and includes 28 days of vacation plus additional company days and local public holidays.
