Position Summary

We seek an experienced Senior React UI Developer to design, build, and optimise interactive user interfaces within Citi's agentic AI-driven development ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of modern frontend engineering and artificial intelligence, developing React applications that integrate seamlessly with AI agents to deliver next-generation financial solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating scalable, performant, and intuitive user experiences that empower our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance React components and application architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability across enterprise systems
• Integrate user interfaces with AI agent systems, translating complex AI capabilities into intuitive, accessible user experiences
• Optimise frontend performance, bundle sizes, and rendering efficiency to meet demanding production requirements
• Collaborate with product teams, UX designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to align technical implementation with business objectives
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and establish best practices for code quality and documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, supporting rapid iteration and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with a proven track record of shipping production applications
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns, state management, and API integration
• Experience with testing frameworks and a commitment to test-driven development
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
