Assistant Vice President – Supply Chain Supplier Manager – Hybrid

Citi is seeking an Assistant Vice President – Supply Chain Supplier Manager for our hybrid role based in Ofallon, Missouri, where you'll lead strategic supplier relationships and drive supply chain excellence across our enterprise. About the Role

As Assistant Vice President of Supply Chain Supplier Management, you'll own end-to-end supplier relationship management and vendor strategy for critical categories. This hybrid role combines on-site leadership in Ofallon with flexible work arrangements, positioning you at the nexus of procurement, operations, and enterprise strategy. You'll guide cross-functional teams through supplier development, cost optimization, and risk mitigation—translating business objectives into measurable supply chain outcomes that power Citi's global operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier strategies, managing contracts, service-level agreements, and performance metrics that align cost, quality, and delivery expectations
• Lead supplier performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
• Direct cross-functional procurement teams through vendor selection, onboarding, and optimization cycles
• Analyze spend patterns, market dynamics, and supply chain data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into supplier deliverables and measurable outcomes
• Develop category roadmaps that address risk management, business continuity, and strategic sourcing objectives
• Present supply chain performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and governance bodies

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or related discipline
• 8+ years of procurement, vendor management, or supply chain experience with 3+ years in a management or leadership role
• Proven expertise in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and vendor performance optimization
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities; proficiency with spend analysis, procurement systems, and KPI development
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across organizations
• Strategic and operational mindset that balances immediate needs with long-term supply chain transformation
• Technical proficiency with procurement platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications
