Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – West

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential workflow automation platform that serves enterprise customers across security, IT, engineering, and finance. This is a founding role on a forward-deployed engineering team, working directly with strategic accounts to drive platform adoption and deliver measurable business impact.

This remote role must be based in MST or PST time zones. Travel is required 20–40% to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical implementation of the platform within complex enterprise environments, integrating with existing systems and configuring customer-specific workflows
• Drive adoption across customer organizations by training and supporting users at all levels, from technical teams to executive stakeholders
• Proactively identify new use cases and opportunities to expand platform value across teams, workflows, and business units
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact, troubleshooting issues, delivering workshops, and resolving blockers before they escalate
• Build lasting partnerships at every organizational level with a focus on long-term retention and growth
• Gather and codify field insights to share with internal product, engineering, and go-to-market teams
• Travel 20–40% to customer sites to build trust and accelerate adoption

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Software Engineer with customer exposure
• Proven track record driving adoption and delivering measurable value from complex technical products in enterprise environments
• Strong engineering skills to own integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and understand customer infrastructure
• Strong Python skills; experience with TypeScript, Java, or similar languages is a plus
• Production experience with LLMs and AI systems including prompt engineering, agent workflows, and deployment at scale
• Ability to train, enable, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• High agency and resourcefulness: you find paths forward independently, escalate only when necessary, and take full ownership of accounts
• Clear, confident communication skills that make complex concepts accessible
• Willingness to travel 20–40% to customer sites
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available

Pay

Target annual compensation for this role is $230K–$280K OTE.
