Senior Indirect Procurement Category Manager – Marketing (All genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior Indirect Procurement Category Manager specializing in Marketing. In this role, you will oversee strategic sourcing and contracting across diverse marketing categories including offline media, online media, influencer marketing, sponsorships, and retail media. You will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to navigate the procurement landscape and drive process maturity initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end marketing sourcing activities: supplier market mapping, RFx execution, negotiation, and contract award for high-value projects
• Developing category strategies for various marketing categories aligned with business objectives
• Creating and executing sourcing roadmaps with headquarters and regional market stakeholders to deliver savings and procurement value
• Developing and optimizing the supplier portfolio across multiple markets
• Building and managing relationships with senior business partners within marketing teams
• Leading the implementation of procurement processes and tools

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a procurement professional with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate brings:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in marketing procurement or marketing with a commercial focus
• Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, and supplier management
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving resolution independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing presentations for senior audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and credibility across organizational levels
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent business English
