Adjunct Faculty – California Multiple Subject Credential/MAT Programs

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential higher education institution seeking adjunct faculty for their educator credential programs. In this role, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, student-centered online instruction for future K-8 educators
• Prepare and deliver course content, assessments, and learning materials
• Mentor and supervise credential candidates throughout their program
• Hold weekly virtual office hours to support students
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum planning and program development
• Utilize learning management systems and educational technology tools such as LMS platforms and video conferencing
• Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and professional development
• Engage in program review, assessment activities, and calibration meetings related to learning outcomes and professional dispositions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Master's degree or higher in Education, Teaching, or a related field
• California Clear Multiple Subject/CLAD Credential (current and valid)
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in California K-8 public schools (current experience required)
• Demonstrated experience teaching diverse student populations
• Must currently reside in California

Preferred:

• Doctoral degree in education or educational leadership
• California Administrative Credential
• Training as an assessor or extensive knowledge of CalTPAs
• Experience mentoring or supervising student teachers or credential candidates
• Familiarity with educational tools such as Go React and Rise Modules
