About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential mobility services organization seeking a Fleet Operations Manager (m/w/d) for their Aachen location. Our client operates a dynamic fleet operation where customer service meets operational excellence. This leadership role combines hands-on coordination with team management in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all operational workflows related to fleet vehicles, from preparation through customer return
- Provide hands-on support with vehicle preparation and servicing alongside your team
- Lead, train, and motivate team members through coaching and active development initiatives
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections upon return, document any issues, and coordinate resolution with headquarters and service partners
- Perform minor repairs directly and coordinate external specialists for larger maintenance needs
- Ensure consistent adherence to quality and safety standards across all operations
- Participate in and contribute to team training programs
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training, ideally in vehicle rental, tourism, or a related field
- Strong service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure situations
- Exceptional organizational skills, solution-focused approach, and positive attitude
- Very good German language skills and good English proficiency
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to guide and develop team members
