Claims Validation Handler

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in their search for a Claims Validation Handler based in London. Our client is a rapidly growing company focused on protecting their business and customers from fraudulent activity while maintaining excellent service standards.

This role sits within a specialized team dedicated to reviewing claims for potential fraud indicators and policy misrepresentation. You'll play a critical part in safeguarding the organization's financial health while ensuring honest customers are treated fairly.

Responsibilities

• Review indemnity referrals flagged by the wider claims team where customers may have misrepresented policy details, determining appropriate action for both the policy and claim
• Investigate first party claims by communicating with policyholders via phone and email, conducting thorough follow-up investigations
• Work proactively and efficiently to minimize financial leakage and protect the company's loss ratio
• Contact customers regarding document requests and necessary policy changes while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Collaborate with and build strong relationships across claims and fraud teams
• Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to protect both the company and honest customers

What We're Looking For

• Background in fraud investigation or claims/policy validation
• Investigative mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident decision-making abilities and capacity to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction
