Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization northwest of Munich that is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join their agile development team. In this role, you will:
- Serve as a core software developer responsible for in-house application development and architecture
- Work within a Scrum team to plan, design, and implement new features for their digital platform
- Actively contribute to the ongoing evolution of their online shop, participating in projects from initial concept through deployment
- Maintain high code quality standards through clean coding practices, continuous integration, and automation
- Critically evaluate existing workflows and processes to drive continuous improvement of software solutions
- Share knowledge with team members and contribute innovative ideas to support the organization's growth
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking a developer with strong technical foundations and a collaborative mindset:
- Solid experience in object-oriented software development with PHP, ideally complemented by framework experience such as Zend or Symfony and Doctrine ORM
- Proficiency with design patterns, modern web frameworks, and database technologies relevant to current web development
- Demonstrated experience developing business-critical applications with an understanding of quality and reliability requirements
- Comfort working with relational databases and managing large datasets as part of daily development work
- Familiarity with automated testing practices and continuous integration workflows
- Appreciation for a startup atmosphere and willingness to collaborate across different areas of the business
