About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential mobile gaming organization based in Hamburg that is seeking an experienced Producer to join their team on a fixed-term contract (1 year with possibility of extension). Our client develops mass-market mobile entertainment experiences and is scaling their production capabilities to support a growing portfolio.
This is a hands-on production leadership role where you'll own end-to-end delivery of game features and releases while managing a small team focused on art and UX production. You'll work in a hybrid setup from their Hamburg office.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete delivery cycle of features and releases from roadmap planning through store launch
- Plan and execute sprint cycles including scoping, capacity planning, dependency management, and prioritization
- Coordinate daily with Tech Leads, Operations Managers, Game Designers, and Product Managers to keep releases on track and unblocked
- Directly manage and develop a team of three in art and UX production, including performance management and career development
- Maintain accurate production tracking in Jira and report status, risks, and blockers to senior management
- Drive continuous improvements to production processes, tooling, and pipelines as the portfolio scales
- Align with Product, Growth, Monetization, and Marketing teams on release timing and scope
What We're Looking For
Required:
- At least 3 years as a Producer or Project Manager in mobile games with shipped titles
- Proven experience running agile delivery cycles with cross-functional teams (engineering, art, design, QA, Product)
- Experience managing people directly or clear readiness to take on line management responsibilities
- Working knowledge of production pipelines and art/UX asset workflows
- Confident using Jira and managing release and version control
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Based in Hamburg or willing to relocate; hybrid work from Hamburg office required
Preferred:
- Experience in casual or hybrid-casual free-to-play games, including live operations and A/B testing
- Background in technical art or technical production
- Experience introducing or improving production processes in a growing studio
- German language skills
