AI Researcher (Operations)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI research organization based in London. They work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and enterprise workflows, developing evaluation frameworks that test how frontier AI systems perform on real professional tasks.

We're seeking experienced operations professionals to join as AI Researchers, bringing your domain expertise to help shape how AI models are trained and evaluated on business operations work.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic operations scenarios to test state-of-the-art AI models—examples include mid-workflow business reviews, process documentation requiring target adjustments, or operational training materials being migrated to new templates
• Collaborate with AI engineering and research teams to implement and evaluate systems against real-world operations tasks
• Define precise success criteria and evaluation rubrics that allow consistent grading of AI-generated work
• Contribute your subject matter expertise to help train AI systems on professional-grade operations deliverables

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in business operations, program management, or process improvement roles
• Deep practical experience building presentations, business reviews, process rollout documentation, and operational performance materials—particularly with PowerPoint
• Ability to articulate what "good" looks like with enough precision that others can grade work against your standards
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn AI and data concepts
• Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving research environments

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is based in London with flexibility for remote work or in-office presence near Liverpool Street.

Pay

Compensation is task-based. Our client offers $400 upon task idea selection, then $100/hour for evaluation and rubric design work. No previous AI experience is required—the research team will provide guidance and support.
