AI Researcher (HR, People, Talent Lead)

Our client is a confidential AI research organization working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and professional workflows. We are representing them in their search for an experienced HR professional to contribute subject matter expertise to cutting-edge AI evaluation projects.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your people operations knowledge in a research context, helping design realistic challenges that test how well AI systems can handle authentic HR workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design real-world HR challenges and evaluation scenarios based on your professional experience with headcount planning, compensation reviews, organizational design, and people strategy documentation
• Create test cases that reflect mid-workflow situations, such as in-progress planning decks, compensation frameworks requiring revision, or onboarding materials being adapted to new formats
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to implement evaluation frameworks for AI systems performing people operations tasks
• Develop precise quality criteria and rubrics that define what excellent HR work looks like in your domain
• Provide detailed feedback on AI-generated HR deliverables against professional standards

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in HR, People Operations, Talent Management, or Learning & Development roles
• Deep practical experience creating PowerPoint presentations for people strategy, organizational planning, compensation reviews, onboarding programs, or training materials
• Ability to articulate and define quality standards precisely enough for objective evaluation
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured feedback frameworks
• Willingness to learn foundational concepts in AI evaluation and data quality (no prior AI experience required—our client's team will provide guidance)
• Experience working mid-workflow on evolving documents rather than only finished deliverables

Location and Working Arrangements

This role is available as either remote or in-office in London. The client is based in the Liverpool Street area.

Pay

Compensation structure: $400 per accepted task design, plus $100 per hour for evaluation and rubric design work. The client's team will provide training and support for the evaluation components.
