About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential on-demand marketplace organization in their search for a Senior Product Manager specializing in Trust & Safety, Integrity, and Fraud. This London-based role offers the opportunity to shape fraud prevention and platform integrity initiatives at scale across a rapidly expanding marketplace ecosystem.
In this position, you will lead cross-functional teams addressing complex challenges spanning fraud prevention, account security, regulatory compliance, and user authenticity. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, AI-enabled automation, and risk mitigation—ensuring millions of users can safely engage with the platform while maintaining seamless experiences.
Responsibilities
- Set product vision and long-term strategy for either a vertical fraud prevention team (consumer, merchant, or courier protection) or horizontal platform capabilities (risk engine, data intelligence, anomaly detection, or identity verification and compliance)
- Prevent, detect, and mitigate fraud and abuse by building and leveraging AI systems that address risk in real time
- Build AI-led fraud operations platforms that transform marketplace signals into automated decisions, prioritized investigations, and actionable workflows
- Develop and execute customer-focused product roadmaps through collaboration with senior leadership, operations, data science, analytics, design, and engineering
- Translate customer and internal-user needs into clear functional and technical requirements supported by data analysis
- Partner with data analysis and engineering teams to define scope, refine technical capabilities, prioritize releases, and identify new opportunities
- Establish instrumentation, monitoring, and evaluation capabilities for product performance tracking and insights generation
- Build business cases with projected ROI to identify and prioritize opportunities
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to manage profitability impact across the organization
- Define success metrics and executive reviews covering fraud trends and P&L impact
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record owning complex, cross-functional products from strategy through execution in ambiguous problem spaces
- Demonstrated experience defining strategic vision and roadmap execution in a given product area
- Proven ability shipping AI-enabled or automation-heavy products, with sound judgment about where models accelerate decisions and where human expertise and accountability must remain central
- Background in technology, fraud, privacy, security, data governance, trust & safety, or risk—or enthusiasm to learn and keep customers protected
- Strong ability translating ambiguous policy, legal, or regulatory requirements into practical, scalable product solutions and clear engineering priorities
- Fluency in modern AI product development, including evaluating model quality, designing human-in-the-loop experiences, and translating emerging capabilities into measurable customer and business value
- Extreme customer centricity with focus on ensuring low-friction experiences for legitimate users
- Analytical, structured approach to ambiguity and risk, with ability to frame tradeoffs, define controls, and set measurable outcomes
- Experience partnering effectively with legal, compliance, public policy, security, privacy, operations, data science, design, and engineering teams
- Interest in applying AI and data-driven systems to improve fraud detection, triage, escalation, and prevention, with sound judgment about safeguards and human oversight
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including ability to align senior leaders around urgent, high-stakes decisions
- Direct experience applying AI/ML to prevent, detect, and mitigate harm, plus AI fluency—you can build features with AI, not just write requirements documents
