What This Role Involves

As a Sanitation Technician in our Production department, you will be responsible for maintaining sterile and hygienic conditions throughout manufacturing areas. You'll work with industry-standard cleaning protocols and equipment to ensure our production environment meets strict industry standards and specifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled cleaning and sanitization procedures in production areas, including equipment, surfaces, and facilities
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and chemical dispensing systems safely and effectively
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document all sanitation activities accurately
  • Inspect production areas for cleanliness and identify any contamination risks or maintenance issues
  • Prepare and apply approved cleaning solutions and sanitizers at proper concentrations
  • Collaborate with production staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and minimize downtime
  • Report any facility issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision in a regulated environment
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
  • Previous sanitation, housekeeping, or production facility experience is valued
