About This Opportunity
We are representing a fast-growing direct-to-consumer retail brand in their search for a Senior Category Manager, Men's EU based in London. Our client operates in the e-commerce apparel and home goods space, delivering high-quality products through an innovative business model. This is a key hire for their expanding European operations.
This role reports to the Head of Merchandising and requires a data-driven, product-obsessed merchandising professional who can execute strategy across menswear categories while driving regional performance through strong trading, customer insight, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end merchandising for selected menswear categories in the UK & EU, including assortment execution, launches, and performance tracking
- Execute regional merchandising strategy in partnership with US Product Merchandising and international peers
- Contribute to product ideation and help shape new product opportunities with supporting business cases
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Planning, Marketing, Technical Design, and Sourcing to deliver successful launches—balancing inventory, go-to-market execution, and product quality
- Analyse trading performance including sales, returns, and margin; take ownership of actions to improve results
- Support pricing and assortment decisions for the region
- Own product catalogue management and administration, including product setup, data accuracy, and system maintenance
- Build site merchandising strategy, including product detail page improvements and customer journey optimisations
- Monitor ratings, reviews, and returns to identify and support product quality improvements
- Manage regional product samples and merchandising assets
- Maintain merchandising reports, tools, trackers, and pricing files
- Evaluate regional product compliance requirements and partner with relevant teams to execute
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of retail merchandising or buying experience in menswear categories, with demonstrated ownership of category performance
- E-commerce and/or DTC experience; exposure to both startup and established brands preferred
- Proven track record of progression within organisations, demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
- Strong product awareness with a commercial mindset and attention to detail
- Product-obsessed professional with experience leveraging data tools and external sources to drive results
- Critical eye to anticipate customer needs, balancing both analytical and creative aspects of retail merchandising
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform trading and merchandising decisions (sales, margin, return rates)
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both executional and strategic support roles
- Experience working cross-functionally with Planning, Design, Sourcing, or Marketing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence through concise written narrative
- Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment with flexibility to stretch beyond functional comfort zones
- Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Based in London with 4 days per week in-office requirement

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: £80,000—£100,000 GBP base salary, depending on experience. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible candidates.
