AI Enablement Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential Series A cloud development platform seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to drive internal AI adoption and automation. In this role, you will:

• Embed across engineering, go-to-market, people operations, support, finance, and operations teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation of manual workflows
• Build end-to-end internal tools and agents that integrate with the existing technology stack and fit seamlessly into daily employee workflows
• Drive measurable adoption through workshops, pairing sessions, and office hours—with success measured by active usage and time saved rather than features shipped
• Partner with security teams to establish guardrails, access controls, and audit trails that protect employee and customer data
• Develop and maintain a framework to track the business value of AI solutions, including key metrics, targets, and actual results

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who combines deep technical capability with business acumen and stakeholder management skills:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally combined with consulting (MBB or Big Four), product management, or business operations experience in a B2B SaaS startup or scale-up environment
• Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and driving measurable value—you can demonstrate a documented adoption win where you transformed a team's workflow around AI
• Strong hands-on experience using AI coding tools like Codex, Claude Code, or similar to ship working solutions (including personal projects)
• Broad understanding of AI technology including LLM versus ML approaches, relevant patterns, and implementation strategies
• Technical proficiency in Python and TypeScript, agent-tooling patterns, evaluations and reliability frameworks, and cost/token optimization
• Familiarity with Git version control and platforms like GitHub or GitLab
• Strong process design instincts—able to map workflows, identify failure points, and build solutions that scale
• Strategic and commercial awareness with the ability to clearly articulate how specific deliverables connect to business goals and metrics
